Paromoiosis (par-o-moy-o’-sis): Parallelism of sound between the words of adjacent clauses whose lengths are equal or approximate to one another. The combination of isocolon and assonance.

I am fixed on happiness.

I never move, I guess.

The wind blows.

The weed grows.

I don’t care.

But au contraire.

There’s trouble nonetheless.

No trouble, no happiness.

The sun breaks through a dismal sky

Beaming pleasure like a lullaby.

You get sick. You get well.

Your medicine delivers you from hell.
