Antimetabole


Antimetabole (an’-ti-me-ta’-bo-lee): Repetition of words, in successive clauses, in reverse grammatical order.

Ham and cheese. Cheese and ham. It doesn’t matter how you stack ’em, they’re gonna be a sandwich, man!
